Office of Special Programs

As a district, Siuslaw SD is committed to the rightful presence of all students in our classroom communities and learning environments. All students benefit from being part of our diverse community of learners, and all are equal members.

We must see all learners with a positive growth mindset, and we must help all learners see themselves this way as well. We do this by creating classroom environments that are learning communities, welcoming and open to all students. The cornerstones are appropriate, standards-based learning targets with special program support and strategies for learning tailored to each student.

The Office of Special Programs will continue to give Siuslaw School District the support needed to move this positive mindset forward and nurture our diverse community of learners.
