FOOD SERVICES

Great news for our Siuslaw families! In October 2020, the Siuslaw School District implemented the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). THAT MEANS THAT EVERY STUDENT ENROLLED IN THE DISTRICT CAN EAT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AT NO COST CEP is a USDA program for schools/districts that have a higher percentage of students on free meals. The CEP agreement is typically for 4 consecutive years. WHILE ON THIS PROGRAM WE WILL NOT COLLECT FREE/REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS.

Schools approved for the CEP program are reevaluated and assessed each school year to determine eligibility and whether the provision can be financially supported by the department or district.
