SCHOOL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
WELCOME to Siuslaw School District – whether you are new or returning! Our dedicated staff is proud to motivate and prepare all students to reach their greatest potential.
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is offered through the link below. To enroll Kindergarteners and other new students at Siuslaw Elementary School, visit 2221 Oak Street.

Kindergarteners and other NEW Elementary students
will need to be enrolled at
Siuslaw Elementary School -- 2221 Oak Street
On-site registration for all students that are NEW to the school district will be August 20, August 21, and August 22, from 9am to 3pm.
To make sure that new students to the district are scheduled in to requested electives and regular classes, on-site registration is required in addition to the basics of online enrollment. This is also a great time to take quick tour of the school and answer any other questions that were not answered during the online process.
On-site enrollment & registration is August 20 through August 22 (Tuesday-Thursday) from 9am to 3pm at all school buildings.
High School & Middle School students that need help with scheduling classes may meet with a counselor at this time.
High School students can also come in to select a locker and pick up their Chromebook for the start of the school year!

Returning Student
If your student has ever been enrolled in Siuslaw School District:

Please verify your home address to make sure that it matches the address for transportation; demographic changes need to be completed first, before changes in the transportation section...thank you.
NEW Siuslaw Student
If your Middle or High School student has never been enrolled in the Siuslaw School District:
NEW Elementary students will need to complete paper registration at 2221 Oak St.
SES Summer School
The program is open from Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, July 25 , Monday through Thursday.
Summer School runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15pm.
Breakfast will be provided in the morning between 8-8:25am in the elementary school breezeway.
Lunch will be provided until 12:20pm in the elementary school breezeway.
Students should be picked up by 12:30 p.m.
The program will be closed on July 4 and 5 for the Siuslaw School District holiday closure.
The program is open to students who are already registered for school during the 2023-2024 school year. (Kindergarteners moving up to first next year up to fifth graders moving up to sixth grade next year.)
Fifth graders who are moving up to sixth grade next year should indicate on their application if they will attend elementary or middle school summer school, they have a choice.

SMS & SHS Summer School
The program is open from Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, July 25, Monday through Thursday at the Siuslaw Middle School.
Summer School runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15pm.
Breakfast will be provided in the morning beginning at 8:00 a.m in the elementary breezeway.
Dismissal and lunch available at 12:15 p.m, in the elementary breezeway.
The Siuslaw Middle School Summer Institute is open to students entering sixth grade through current eighth-grade students. The focus will be STEAM, and students will be engaging in a mix of science, technology, engineering, art, math, and reading. The Siuslaw Middle School Summer Institute Registration Form is available at the middle school office or by clicking the link. The form is due by Friday, June 7.
High school students attending summer school is by invitation only for credit recovery work. If you have questions regarding if summer school should be a consideration for you or your child, contact School Counselor Laura Osbon at 541-997-3448, extension 7487 or via email at losbon@siuslaw.k12.or.us.
There will be no bussing available this year.
