Boys basketball registration is now open. Practice is Jan 6th (teacher inservice) at 330pm. To practice you must have a sports physical on file and sign up online through familyid.com. Thank you and Go Viks!

Siuslaw Middle School Girls 23 Team Basketball Tournament has officially ended and it was a great turnout. Thank you to everybody for stepping up to help out. It really does take a community to run a tournament. Special thanks to the people who stepped up to officiate, you all are amazing for taking on a difficult task. Go Viks!

Our Winter Choir Concert is tomorrow, December 5th at Siuslaw Middle School from 7-8 p.m. Hope to see you there!

MIDDLE SCHOOL WRESTLING HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 11/26 TO COOS BAY - Weather forecasts have changed over the day and returning home may be an issue for the bus.

Unless there is a significant change in the weather & wind forecast, middle school wrestling will travel to Coos Bay this afternoon. Conditions to the south have improved since yesterday's predictions. Have a great holiday!

Just a friendly reminder that we only have school Monday and Tuesday this week. We are off Wednesday through Friday to observe the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy some well deserved time with your families!

Big shout out to Domino's pizza for taking care of girls basketball team from Brookings! Long drive for Middle School athletes and this will save them some time from getting back really late. Thank you. We have such a great community.

Box tops contest begins next week!!

SMS was fortunate to have Kevin Locke do a great presentation today with hoop dancing, flute playing and storytelling. It was an excellent cultural experience!

The Oregon Family Support Network is offering the 'Parents Helping Parents' workshop to all parents in the community. The first session is next week, 10/29 at 6pm. More details are at https://5il.co/aynm
